Abstract
In this work, we present a method to visualize the air flow of two circular micro-nozzles with different diameters. The supersonic flow in the nozzle was observed using the Z-schlieren technique and the shock wave patterns were clearly identified. The refraction index of the supersonic flow was obtained using an integration form of the refraction index gradient measured experimentally. We make the comparison between the results obtained for two different nozzle diameters.
