The observation of self-generating high-order diffraction associated with a conical ring in LiNbO3 on which two extraordinarily polarized beams are incident is reported. We propose that Bragg- mismatching diffraction, Bragg degeneracy, and multiple scattering through two-wave mixing could be responsible for the high-order diffraction and the conical ring.
