Profile Summary

Head of the Crystal Spectroscopy Laboratory, ITMO University (Russia, St. Petersburg).
The main topics of the Lab's work are the physical properties (optical, electrical etc.) of calcium and cadmium fluoride crystals with color centers and their implementation as a dynamic (CdF2) and static (CaF2) voume holographic media. Color centers are formed in the crystals by means of additive coloration procedure, realized in the Lab. Fluoride crystals with volume holograms are used as spectral and angular filters, filters for optical correlators, measuring scales for linear shift device.
