Profile Summary

Byung Cheol Song received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 1994, 1996, and 2001, respectively. From 2001 to 2008, he was a senior engineer at Digital Media R&D Center, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Suwon, Korea. In March 2008, he joined the department of Electronic Engineering, Inha University, Incheon, Korea, and currently is an associate professor. His research interests are in the general areas of video/image coding, super-resolution, de-blur, image stabilization, de-weathering, computer vision, multimedia system design, and data mining.
