Davide Bucci obtained in 2003 the "diploma di laurea" (B.s) in electronics engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy, and at the same time at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electricité et Radioélectricité de Grenoble (ENSERG), thanks to a double degree programme. His became interested in integrated optics on glass during his PhD work, at the Institut de Microélectronique, Electromagnétisme et Photonique (IMEP). The main goal was to design and fabricate a wideband pump/signal duplexer by ion-exchange on glass. Davide Bucci is currently Associate Professor at Grenoble INP Phelma, where he teaches electronics, microelectronics and guided optics. Among his current research interests at the IMEP-LAHC, there is the study and the fabrication of optofluidic sensors, electromagnetic modelling of integrated optics devices and ion-exchange on glass.
