Under the trend of global carbon emission reduction and energy transformation, energy storage will usher in new development opportunities. Especially with the accelerated development of distributed generation and distribution network, user side energy storage will play a more and more important role. At present, the research on user side energy storage mostly focuses on user side energy storage peak valley arbitrage, demand side response and other economic analysis. In fact, the development of user side energy storage can replace the investment demand of distribution network lines to a certain extent. In the case of difficulties in investment recovery of global power grid companies, the development of user side energy storage can significantly alleviate the investment pressure of power grid companies, but there are still few relevant studies. Through the established joint optimization model of energy storage and line capacity, this paper analyzes the impact of user side energy storage on the construction demand of power grid lines, which provides a certain reference for power grid companies to carry out line and user side energy storage investment.
