Profile Summary

I have directed three national research projects in the field of laser applications in medicine. I was also involved as partner using lasers based instruments in other two projects in the health domain. I'm working now as partner in a project dedicated to photonics nanomaterials.
Current project is to publish a book entitled "Optical Spectroscopy and Group Theory: An Illustrated Introduction" at Taylor & Francis Group. It results from my educational activity in teaching of Condensed Matter Spectroscopy. An easy-to-read introduction to the group theory applied to spectroscopy, the book contains many color illustrations and examples. It is useful to everyone who performs spectroscopic measurements, wishing to understand the correlation between the spectrum appearance and the sample structure.
