I received my Engineering Degree at the ENSPS (French School of Physics, Strasbourg, France) as well as my Post-Graduate Degree in photonics and microelectronics at Université de Strasbourg, in 1992. I obtained a Ph.D. in optical, electrical and computer engineering at Université de Haute Alsace in 1996. I was appointed as assistant professor at ENSISA/Université de Haute Alsace, France, in 1998 and have been a professor at ENSISA since 2005. After heading the Electrical and Control Engineering Department at ENSISA from 2007 to 2012, I was elected Dean of ENSISA in June 2012.
My major interests include optical signal processing, imaging polarimetry and optical metrology. In the last ten years, my team and I have been developing portable imaging polarimeters able to run at 200 fps in the visible range.
