Dr. Mariana Amorim Fraga obtained her MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil) and her PhD in Aeronautics and Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA, Brazil). Currently, she is a Visiting Professor at the Biomedical Engineering Program, Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP, Brazil). Her research interests are in the materials science and engineering areas, mainly in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for the development of MEMS sensors, electronic devices and energy technologies. She is the author of more than 50 articles in SCI journals and 14 book chapters. She is also editor of 3 books, guest editor 7 special issues, and reviewer of over 50 indexed journals.
