Author
Profile Summary

Matthew Suttinger received his B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Physics from UCF in 2013. During his time as an undergraduate, he participated in multiple research projects involving numerical and applied mathematics, signal processing, solid state lasers, and ultra-fast lasers.

After graduation, Matthew entered the industry as a laboratory information management systems consultant and independent game designer/programmer.

Matthew started the Optics Ph.D program at CREOL in 2015. He now works with Dr. Arkadiy Lyakh creating simulations and performing experimental measurements on quantum cascade lasers. Matthew’s research interests include quantum cascade lasers, optical simulations, and parallel processing applications in physical simulations.
