Profile Summary

I am a graduate student at the University of Texas at Dallas working towards a master’s in mechanical engineering and I am looking for a position within the aerospace and/or defense industry as an R&D or Design Mechanical Engineer.

I have strong mechanical design, 3D modeling/CAD, Matlab/Simulink, and R&D skills. I am very eager and quick to learn new principles, tools, and practices as is evident by the wide range of applications I have had experience with. I am a problem solver, a team player, and am not afraid to do what it takes to get the job done. I am a dependable and decisive leader who can delegate work, organize efforts, and resolve conflict well. Working individually or as part of a team, I have taken many projects from start to finish. This has given me a great deal of experience in project planning, cost analysis, and product development as well as in the designing, building, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems. I have developed strong technical writing and presenting skills through publishing three papers, speaking at a conference, as well as writing and presenting term papers and project reports.
