Profile Summary

Dr. Paul Fromme joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University College London, England as a lecturer in 2003. He received a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, in 1996 and a Ph.D. degree (Dr. sc. techn.) in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, in 2001. From 2002 to 2003, Dr. Fromme worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Imperial College London, England. His current research interests include guided ultrasonic wave propagation for nondestructive testing and structural health monitoring applications, and biomedical applications of ultrasound.
