Profile Summary

Paul is chief technical officer at Aardvark Aerospace Ltd

He has more than 37 years’ experience in the aerospace industry, specifically in the design and development of airborne electronic visual systems and technical, project, and program management on a variety of military and civil display programs.
He has been involved with experimental programs, both civil and military, concerned with aircraft operations in very limited visual conditions by means of sensors operating at various wavelengths providing enhanced vision on collimated visual displays to the pilot.
He is currently involved in the development of advanced display products, both for mounted and dismounted War fighters and also for commercial aircraft applications.

Paul has many publications in the fields of display technology and in enhanced and synthetic guidance. He is also the recipient of numerous awards for technical innovation, most recently the prestigious Chairman’s Gold Award for Technical Innovation, for work on waveguide technology.

He holds a B Sc. (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Salford, United Kingdom; a PGDipTS in Solid State Electronics from the Victoria University of Manchester, United Kingdom; and a M Phil from the Metropolitan University of Manchester, United Kingdom, for research in magnetic physics, is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, Chartered Physicist and a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Technology (FIET).
