Here we analyze simulation of vortex interference with plane colinear wave and experimental verification of that one. The vortex was created with the application of synthethic hologram.
Interferometer used for experimental investigation, contain three branches: vortex field, test colinear wave and off axis reference wave. The position of vortex were found in two stages, first with the help of reference wave, characteristic fork pattern was used to localize vortex area, and finally exact position of vortex were found by paraboloid shape matching to intensity distribution . Finally, dependence of vortex position on amplitude and phase of testing wave is presented.
Results of experimental investigation of speckle created by the reflection of laser beam from ruffled surface of liquid with limited number of statistically independent scatterers are presented. First order intensity statistics are investigated. Dependence of higher order statistical moments on amplitude of ripples is presented. Possible applications are discussed.
