Dr. Vivek Rathod received his Ph.D from the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, India, in the year December 2015. Subsequently, he was a Research Intern in the ‘Materials Science Department’ and a Research Associate at ‘Center of Societal Missions and Special Technologies’ at National Aerospace Laboratories, India. Since 2017, he was a postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Michigan State University, USA. He joined Oak Ridge National Lab as a Research associate in 2020. His main areas of interest are Elastic and Electromagnetic Wave Propagation, Smart Materials, Structural Health Monitoring, Transducers, Nondestructive Evaluation and Nano Composite Materials. He is a coauthor of 16 journal articles, 1 book chapter and 29 conference proceedings.
