The size of absolute band gap s in photonic crystals can be increased by reducing the lattice symmetry. Using this methods design the model of Photonic Crystals with heterostructure. In this paper a new structure by adding different rods into the unit cell of square lattices is explored, and we also consider the structure which overlays the glide symmetry lattice structure with single rod square lattice. Its band gap was calculated by the finite difference time domain method. Numerical analysis shows that the size of absolute band gap is enlarged in this way.

Analyzing the laser processing system basic structure, the model of CO2 laser processing system with remote control has
been given. A new scheme of this system is carried out. In this system, the control module of CO2 laser processing
system is designed to accept the instruction which comply with HTTP protocol. The hardware structure and the software
framework are described in detail in this paper. The scheme basing on standard protocol is value to design and
manufacture of CO2 laser processing system.
Wavelet transform was widely used in communication, data compression and image manipulation. Base on Wavelet transform, the model that is designed for enhancing the result of binary image in laser processing system was built. Software for this model to control CO2 laser processing system was wrote out. The result which was given in this paper indicated that this model can effectively improve the output quality of binary image in CO2 laser processing system.
By the analysis of the DXF file format of three-dimension image, the scheme that uses the technology of spatial and triangular transformation is formulated. The arithmetic for this scheme was given out in this paper. The control software for this arithmetic has been used in CO2 three-dimension laser processing system. Compared with some different schemes, the advantage of using this scheme in laser processing system was also pointed out. This scheme can be popularized in the other laser processing system.
By studying the basic principle of C02.laser processing system, energy-adjust method, concentration parameter method and dither method which was used to process computer image are introduced to laser processing system to process gray image. Some new soft modules for these methods are developed which have been used in laser processing system for processing different material such as wood, marble, plastic. The data of the three processing time and the image quality are also given. By comparing the laboratory data, the conclusion is drawn out that the image quality can be improved with concentration parameter method and the processing time is shorted greatly at the same quality of image for different material by using dither method. This result can be popularized in the other laser processing system.
By studying the applications of the computer in laser processing system, this paper analyzes how to input images to laser processing system, deals with images, outputs images, controls the process and accepts the system feedback in laser processing system. Laser process is working by laser energy. The responding of laser power supply, the focus of laser etc. will affect the precision in laser process, so we carry out a proper project by building laser process feedback system and using software to correct the problem in laser process that are collected by the feedback system. We think a better result will be achieved in this way.
A novel surface roughness optical fiber sensor is presented. It consists of a light emitting diode source, an Y-tap, a probe made up of self-focusing optical fiber, a photo- detector setup, and a fuzzy system. Its principle is based on the intensity-modulated light from an object surface to be measured. The fuzzy algorithm was used to treat the data obtained from photo-detector setup. Since the fuzzy algorithm can map input and output perfectly, the measure accuracy was improved and the measure range was expanded.
