Dr. Ahmed Maklad is an assistant professor of Computer Science in the College of Computer Science and Engineering in Yanbu, Taibah Unversity, Saudi Arabia, and at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Beni-Suef Univ., Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in System Innovation Engineering (2014) in Medical Image Processing from Graduate School of Advanced Technology and Science, Tokushima University, Japan. He obtained his master degree at School of Engineering, Tokushima University. He founded the Medical informatics undergraduate program at Beni-Suef University in 2018. His research interests are in Medical image processing and analysis, genetics, Cancer detection and diagnosis, and biomedical technology.
