Alireza holds a bachelor’s degree in Control Engineering from QIAU and an M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering with a focus on telecommunications, energy, and automation from the Université Gustave Eiffel (formerly Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée). He completed his Ph.D. in Electronics and Photonics Engineering at the University of Strasbourg (INSA Strasbourg), specializing in optical fiber instrumentation systems.
Alireza’s expertise spans applied physics, microtechnologies, optoelectronics, and distributed fiber optic sensing (DFOS) systems, with a focus on distributed acoustic, temperature, and strain sensing (DAS, DTS, DSS) as well as fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors. He has extensive experience in long-range reflectometric systems like Lidar, Radar, and Sonar.
Professionally, Alireza has worked in various industries, including Electromechanical Instrumentation, Structural Health Monitoring, Oil & Gas Instrumentation, and Engineering Diagnostics Web-Applications. Currently, he leads research in microelectronics and optoelectronics repair and remanufacturing solutions at Valeo, focusing on sustainable practices and reducing environmental impact.
