Profile Summary

Currently, I am in my final year of 5 year BS-MS program at IISER Kolkata (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research). My MS project is focused on Spin-Orbit interaction (SOI) of light in exotic optical systems, Spin Hall Effect of light (SHEL) and weak measurement. I am associated with Bio-Optics and Nano-Photonics group (BiONaP) of IISER Kolkata leaded by Dr. Nirmalya Ghosh. I want to pursue my PhD in the field of Nano-Optics and Photonics in an enthusiastic experimental group.

I receive the KVPY fellowship (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana), most prestigious for undergraduate studies in India funded by DST (Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) and run by IISc (Indian Institute of Science). My cumulative GPA is 8.3/10 (absolute grading). I had done three internship in IISc and PRL (Physical Research Laboratory). I am an alumni of Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting 2012 dedicated to Physics.

Beside studies, I enjoy arts, designing, photography etc. I like group activities.
