Dharmendra Kumar received Ph. D and M. Tech degree from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India, and B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering from IET MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, India. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology Gorakhpur, India. His area of interest includes Photonic Crystal Fiber, Optical Fiber Sensors, and nanophotonic. He is a Senior Member of OSA and a Member of SPIE. He has guided thirteen M.Tech. dissertations and one Ph.D. candidate. He has published more than 60 research articles in national and international SCI journals and conferences such as IEEE Transaction on Nanotechnology, IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, IEEE SJ, superlattices and microstructure, applied optics, JNP etc.
