Profile Summary

Dr. Qianli Zou is currently an associate professor at the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He obtained the B.S. degree from Beijing Normal University in 2006 and received his Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry in 2013 from the Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS. He then joined IPE as an assistant professor and was promoted to associate professor in 2016. His research interests focus on the synthesis and self-assembly of functional peptides for applications in photodynamic therapy, photothermal therapy, and biomimetic photosynthesis. He has more than 40 published papers from peer reviewed journals, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., J. Med. Chem. etc., and 7 patents authorized.
