Abstract
For uniform spherical particles, there is no spatial orientation problem. However, for non-spherical particles, the light scattering characteristics of non-spherical particles change when their spatial orientation changes. In this paper, the variation trend of depolarizability of super-ellipsoid dust aerosol particles as they rotate in space is studied. The spatial orientation has a great influence on the depolarizability of particles. In different directions, the peak value of particle depolarization is about 0.8 or the peak value of particle depolarization is about 0.5.The average depolarizability of all particles in different directions is around 0.42.
