Abstract
This paper presents a method that can accurately determine the mapping between the phase and three-dimensional (3D) coordinates for digital fringe projection systems. This method first extracts the rotation and translation of each calibration target pose, calculates 3D coordinates for each pixel, and then establishes pixel-wise relationship between each coordinate and phase. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves higher calibration accuracy comparing with the traditional structured light system calibration method.
