Abstract
The first paradox in the world was proposed in ancient Greek, and thousands of years later, it has been solved tentatively. Afterward, with the continuous development and integrity of people’s thoughts, several new paradoxes have been proposed. People have been confused by these paradoxes for a long time. However, some of them can be gradually explained now due to the development of science. This paper analyses several classical paradoxes, namely Murphy’s law, the paradox about waiting buses, gaining diseases, and the paradox of three prisoners. It is found that the probability theory is an indispensable tool for analyzing them.
