Abstract
This paper selected Earthquake Cases in China as the sample set and proposed a neural network model based on a rough set to realize automatic selection of core abnormal indicators by rough set attribute reduction algorithm then built a neural network model with strong generalization ability to simulate the uncertain relationship between anomalies and earthquakes. The results showed that the magnitude difference was between -0.5 and 0.5, which met the requirement of earthquake prediction accuracy. It could be seen that the model is effective in earthquake prediction research
