Abstract
Path planning and navigation and positioning are the key issues in the operation of the book return smart car. The book return smart car system proposed in this paper adopts the improved A^* algorithm and inertial navigation for path planning and navigation and positioning. First, use the camera to identify the map of the library. Secondly, apply the A^* algorithm to solve the optimal path from the initial position to the final position. Finally, the icm20602 six-axis IMU sensor integrates the acceleration during the driving process of the book-returning smart car, and the encoder is used to locate the vehicle's position.
