Abstract
Given that the disassembly speed of the body of the telescopic belt conveyor operated in an underground coal mine couldn’t keep consistent with the advancing speed of the working face, a telescopic system specially for the belt conveyor was designed. Then a detailed comparison of the merits and demerits and a force analysis of different telescopic systems were made in this paper. Lastly, a conveyor belt-oriented friction-type traction device was invented for specific working conditions. And the traction device is characterized by strong adaptability and high working efficiency and could retract and extend the telescopic part continuously and automatically, which provided an effective technical solution to facilitate the intelligent and efficient development of the modern mine.
