Abstract
In order to effectively solve the problem of rail-car’s large ramp traction in coal mine, the paper studies the operating environment conditions of underground rail-car, and obtains the design technical requirements of rubber wheel tractor. And through the vehicle transmission system matching and offset compensation traction device research, the overall layout scheme of the tractor was designed. The tractor is mainly composed of vehicle frame, bidirectional driving cab, explosion-proof diesel engine, offset compensation traction device, hydraulic transmission system, four-wheel steering axle, loading and unloading crane, hydraulic and electrical control system. Finally, the first tractor was manufactured and industrial tested in the coal mine. The results show that this scheme can effectively solve the problem of rail-car’s traction.
