Abstract
Neuropathic pain is a prominent illness that is often resistant to therapy and is typically accompanied with dissatisfaction among patients throughout the treatment process. Prior research has shown that medications may be beneficial in some circumstances, but there are still hurdles and risks. Numerous studies have shown that spinal cord stimulation (SCS) utilizing varying wave frequencies is a viable alternative therapy for neuropathic symptoms. This study investigates the mechanism and application scenarios of three distinct SCS protocols, as well as the evaluation and treatment of individuals with various kinds of neuropathic pain; it may serve as a practical reference for future research.
