Abstract
The advantages of switched reluctance motor and disk motor are pooled by axial field disk type reluctance motor. Therefore, the motor has the characteristics of low-cost, high-power density and compact structure. This paper has studied the fuzzy PI control to realize the control of axial field disk type switched reluctance motor, and gives the details of the control method. According to the contact between the motor’s switching angle and the output torque, fuzzy control rules are designed with motor speed and speed deviation rate, PI control is introduced to compensate the control blind area in fuzzy control at low speed. The simulation model of motor fuzzy PI control is established, and two simulation experiments of single PI control and fuzzy PI control are carried out respectively, the simulation results show that fuzzy PI control has good performance and is suitable for speed control of axial field disk type switched reluctance motor.
