Abstract
Using self-coupling PID (SC-PID) control technology, a pressure control problem for a natural gas supply system was studied. Firstly, based on the natural gas supply system simulation model built under multidisciplinary unified modeling language Modelica, the impact of pumps and compressors on the pressure of the supply system is analyzed through the simulation of the key work flow of the natural gas supply system. Then, a buffer tank pressure controller was designed by self-coupling PID control technology, and the effectiveness of the controller was verified based on the natural gas supply system simulation model. The simulation results verified that designed pressure controller can make the safe and stable operation of the whole natural gas supply system under operating conditions such as fuel supply mode switching and load changes of the main engine.
