Abstract
For prestressed concrete continuous girder bridges, a single monitoring section can be used to realize the early warning or alarm function of the overload status of the whole bridge. Obviously, the overload alarm mode with a single monitoring section can significantly improve the monitoring efficiency and reduce the monitoring cost. In this paper, combining with the internal force analysis of the The approach bridge of Yuping-Yihe grand bridge, the results of enduring condition bearing capacity limit state and regular use limit state calculation and stress calculation results, and taking into account the effects of the modal analysis of the main girder, we first solve the problem of how to monitor the overload condition of the whole bridge with the least number of measurement points or test sections, determine the critical section or control section of the main girder, and then select the monitoring section by combining with the site installation and test conditions.
