Abstract
In a complex electromagnetic environment, accurately extracting target radar signal pulses is crucial for radar signal sorting. With the increasing pulse density in the electromagnetic environment, even though the pulse flow is diluted through presorting, when performing sequence extraction, there are still situations where multiple pulses exist within the search range. This results in the current pulse search methods struggling to extract the correct pulses. To solve this problem, a multiparameter pulse sequence search method is proposed. Firstly, the main sorting algorithm is employed to determine the PRI modulation type of radar signals in the electromagnetic environment. Subsequently, a pre-search is conducted on the pulse flow. Based on the clustering results of the pre-search, the potential carrier frequency, pulse width, and arrival angle information of the current radar signal can be inferred. Consequently, using this parameter information, pulses that do not belong to the current radar signal can be excluded from the search range. The simulation experiments prove that the method can make the accuracy of the sequence search of both slip and jitter radar signals reach more than 95% under the premise that the sequence search of ordinary radar signals is maintained at a high accuracy. Simulation results indicate that in scenarios with high pulse density, especially for jitter and slippage radar signals, this method can improve the accuracy of pulse sequence searches, reducing the probability of wrong selection and the probability of missing selection.
