Abstract
Video imaging is an emerging direction in the development of Earth observation in recent years. By utilizing the agility characteristics of satellites and combining the continuity of video observation, it can achieve continuous video tracking and observation of ground targets. It can "gaze" at a certain area, continuously observe changes in the field of view, and obtain more dynamic information about the target area than traditional Earth observation satellites through "space video recording". This video camera preprocesses the image data of CMOS sensors using FPGA internal cache, and transmits the preprocessed image data using a high-speed SERDES interface. Compared to traditional cameras, camera replacement has smaller latency, simple data flow, and large data transmission volume, with a capacity of 1280 x 1024@50fps.
