Abstract
Cylindricity error assessment is a rather difficult problem in form error assessment. There are already many methods for assessing the cylindricity error, but much is yet to be desired in terms of precision and efficiency. In this paper, we are going to study two new evaluating methods sequential unconstrained minimization technique (S.U.M.T) and linear programming (L.P.) to search for more practical, effective and accurate methods.
