Abstract
Continuous wave multiple wavelength laser emission was observed in a Tm+3 doped Ta2O5-Al2O3-SiO2 glass fiber with pumping in the 3H63F4 transition around 800nm. The oscillation wavelength was within the gain band of 3H43H6 with maximum output power of 15 mW and threshold of pump power 20 mW. The variation of lasing wavelengths depending on the cavity length, output coupling ratio is reported.
