Abstract
The theory of interference of light based on a principle of a superposition of waves does not cover completely experimental data. The alternative concept of interference based on the assumption of interaction of light beams by way of exception from the law of their independence is considered. Is shown that within the frame of this concept it is possible to reach the best agreement between the theory and experimental data.
