Abstract
The possibilities of spectroscopic investigations by means of correlated photon pairs (biphotons) generated in spontaneous parametric down-conversion are analyzed. It is shown that modulation of the single-photon wave packets allows one to determine the form of absorption line even if spectral width of that is much less than spectral resolution of monochromator.
