Abstract
Image data services has been widely applied in location-based services Web-based for its visually expression. At present, owing to the network multi-user access, transmission bandwidth and the massive image data, how to efficiently transmit the multi-resolution images is the key to achieve the images services in the network environment. After analyzing the traditional multi-resolution image data organization, a data organization based on the tree model is proposed in this paper. Then the paper discusses how to get sub-blocks and compress the image data through the tree model, then perform the dynamic transmit stratification according to the network access bandwidth. Achieve the multi-resolution progressive transmission on network with non-repetition data. Finally, an experiment is presented. The result of experiment shows the progressive transmission of multi-resolution image data.
