Abstract
Measurements of angular distribution of coherent transition radiation (CTR) from electron bunches with energy 6.1 MeV and length σz =1.3mm were carried out using the detector based on broadband antenna and high-frequency diode with resulting sensitivity 0.3V/mW at a room temperature. Parabolic mirror use for CTR focusing rejects a pre-wave zone effect. The absolute value of the CTR power agrees with theoretical prediction within experimental accuracy level.
