16 February 2009 Tunable terahertz wave generation in GaSe crystals

Abstract
We have generated a narrow line-width T-ray continuously tunable in the range of 0.5~4 THz by the different frequency generation in a GaSe crystal with a collinear phase-matched configuration. The peak power at 3.07 THz reaches 17.3 W, and the measured line width is less than 0.3cm-1.
