Abstract
The color transfer is a simple and efficient method to transfer the color in a daytime image to an infrared image so that the infrared image appears a natural color appearance. In order to make the method more conducive to hardware implementation, in this paper, instead of in lαβ color space, the effect of color transfer in YCbCr color space was studied. Instead of a nonlinear color space conversion by linear one, the color transfer in YCbCr color space is simpler, and experimental results shows that the effects of color appearance is similar with that of color transfer in lαβ color space.
