1 January 1993 Moiré methods using computer-generated gratings

Abstract
Computer-generated gratings have the ability to be quickly and rapidly changed. In moiré methods, this versatility enables the election of the right grating pitch for a particular problem. Also, the ability to shift these computer gratings allows phase shifting to be applicable with no moving parts. The use of computer-generated gratings for qualitative visualization and quantitative analysis of virtually all moiré methods is described.
