1 December 2001 Performance assessment of a homodyne laser radar for surface displacement monitoring
Author Affiliations +
Measurements under varied conditions performed with a homodyne laser radar prototype for surface displacement monitoring are presented. They include constant and variable velocity measurements from both a disk and a belt target. in this manner, a methodology for estimating the probability of detection and the standard deviation of the complete system is proposed.
