Abstract
The unit consisted of a resistive head, horn antenna and matched load has been used to measure high microwave pulsepower density in a free space. Experiments were carried out in S-, X- and Q-band at a frequency 2.75, 9.2 and 34.2 GHz,respectively. It was established that with a help of such unit microwave pulse power density up to a few hundreds of kWper m2 can be measured.
