Abstract
In this paper we use human visual attention mechanism to extract salient objects from remote sensing image. Different from previous methods, this method just uses bottom-up features of the input image to compute saliency map. From the saliency map we get the information about the salient object area. Guided by the saliency map, we can extract salient object from remote image. We apply this method to remote sensing image, and the experiment shows this method gets satisfying result.
