Dr. Adel Ouleki received the Ph.D. with honors from Bordj Bou Arréridj University, Algeria, and academic research accreditation (HDR) degrees in electrical engineering from theInstitute of ElectricalEngineering and Electronics (IGEE), Boumerdès, in 2014 and 2018, respectively. He has held various academic positions since 2016 such as senior researcher within BIOSMC team at Centre de Développement des Technologies Avancées (CDTA). In April 2018, he has been admitted for a position of MRA which primarily involved supervising the original research project.
Prior to joining the CDTA, he has served as a temporary assistant lecturer in the department of electronics at Bordj Bou Arréridj University from 2010 to 2014. He has served as a reviewer for many conferences including the sixth international conference on image processing theory tools and applications (IPTA, 2016) and a member of the organizing committee of the National seminar on electronic devices (C7COM). His current research projects focus on interdisciplinary applications of computer science and engineering to the service of the security areas. Dr.
Oulefki areas of expertise include signals, images, and video processing, data clustering, pattern recognition and biometric authentication using both RGB cameras and thermal sensors. Dr. Oulefkii has numerous journal publications and conference articles in the aforementioned topics. Having also participated in several IT projects within ANT team
where has he also collaborated with local socio−economic R&D development projects.
