Profile Summary

I Received my Bachelor degree in electrical engineering from the University of Aleppo, Syria, and Master's degree (MSc) from the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. From May 2005 to January 2006, I joined Institute of Semiconductor Technology at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. In February 2006, I started my Ph.D research at the Laboratory for Micro-optics, Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK), University of Freiburg, Germany, and received my PhD degree in July 2010. After PhD I continued in the Laboratory for Micro-optics as a Senior Scientist (PostDoc), with a focus on the development and application of endoscopic optical coherence tomography.
In February 2012 I joined Z-LASER Optoelektronik GmbH company in the R&D department. In 2014 I became team manager of the R&D-Optics, and in Oktober 2018 I leaded the advanced Enginnering (predevelopment) in Z-LASER.
