Manuela Ramos Ospina is a physics engineer and a master’s degree student in Data Science. She is currently a research assistant in the Applied Electromagnetism Research Group at EAFIT University, where she focuses on remote sensing applications using satellite imagery. Throughout her career, she has led projects in Agriculture 4.0, including the development of a linear robot for plant monitoring, the establishment of a deep learning model to classify nutritional disorders from smartphone images, and the use of drones for generating spatial products in agro-environmental research. In the future, Manuela plans to apply her vision to develop data fusion methodologies for monitoring environmental events.
