Mingjian Cheng was born in Jiangxi, China in Oct. 1990. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics and a Master’s degree in Optical Engineering from Jiangnan University, Wuxi, China, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He received the doctor’s degree in Radio Physics at Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2018. He is now a lecturer in the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Xidian University.
His researching field mainly focus on the beam waves propagation and scattering problems in random media, such as atmosphere and ocean; vortex beams with orbital angular moment; and atmospheric laser communication.
